MiraVe Inc is composed of volunteers across four countries with strong backgrounds in education, physical and mental health, and business development.

Eduardo Lachy Castillo
Executive Director, President
Eduardo founded MiraVe Inc in 2020. For the past 9 years, he has worked in the banking industry, specializing in business development, lending, and marketing. He was born and raised in Lima, Peru, and moved to Northern Virginia, US in 2006, where he currently resides. He handles MiraVe's day-to-day along with our team of officers and volunteers.

Chris Sun, MD.
Director
Dr. Sun graduated from the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in 2017. He enjoys painting, cooking, and karaoke. He is fascinated by Peruvian culture and interested in global health.

Maria Elena Castro
Director & Treasurer
Maria Elena has a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from San Martin de Porres University, is a specialist in foreign trade, and currently works in International Cargo sales at DB Schenker Peru. As one of MiraVe's officers currently living in Peru, she plays a crucial role in driving our organization's mission forward.

Diana Lachy Castillo
Vice President
Diana has a B.A. in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia and a M.A. in Business and international Trade from the Sorbonne Paris IV. She has worked for the World Bank for the past 8 years, currently as an Operations Analyst managing trust funds. She was born and raised in Lima Peru, and currently resides in Northern Virginia.

Aya Nisato
Secretary
Aya has studied International Cultural Studies and Hospitality Management and has over 15 years of experience in business administration, customer service, and childcare. She holds a TESOL Certification and provides English lessons and translation services. She enjoys baking, cooking, and crocheting.

Melanea Castillo
Community Outreach Coordinator
Melanea is a licensed attorney who completed her law studies at Alas Peruanas University and has worked in the legal area in both the public and private sectors. She is one of the first points of contact between MiraVe and the different groups that we support and leads different social work initiatives for her community in Lima, Peru.

Julio Castillo
Facilities Coordinator
Julio has a certification in foreign trade from the University of San Marcos and Customs School. With over 40 years of experience as an administrator and logistics specialist for various customs agencies and export companies, he coordinates donation drives and repairs through our Children's Shelter Partnership Program.

Benjamin Vuilleminroy
Communications Manager
Benjamin has a Bachelor degree in Marketing and a Master degree in International Trade. He has been working for the World Bank since 2017 in the Latin American and Caribbean area. Born and raised in France with Peruvian roots, he moved to Virginia in 2017. He enjoys cooking, travelling, and believes that working together for the ones in need is an accomplishment of its own.

Tania Huaman
Scholarship Coordinator
Tania is a licensed psychologist from Cesar Vallejo University. She currently works as a clinical-educational psychologist, offering her services as a gestalt psychotherapist and teaching children at the kindergarten and elementary levels. She is certified as a facilitator in tutoring and school coexistence.
